Sudden Weakness Of Muscles And Nerves, Please Suggest Me

my mother is 54 yrs old. two months back she was admitted in a hospital with complain of abdominal pain. fearing UTI culture test was conducted but it turned out sterile. my mom was discharged after ten days ( pain had gone) . now she is very weak, when we consulted another doctor , the doctor told us that she may have some neurological + ortho problems. My mom cannot walk steadily for long and her muscles have gone weak ( visibly shrunk). my mom was pretty perfect before she was admitted for abdominal pain. her medical history is that she is a diabetic which was also a bit out of control.
