Suffer From Panic Attacks, Headaches And Anxiety. Had Pneumonia And Septicemia. On Rivotril. Will I Be Addicted To Medication?
Hi, I have severe anxiety and panic attacks after having septiceamia and pneunomia 5 yrs ago, I am taking rivotril 1mg per day, and want to leave it off because I have become dependant in the past on serepax, I have started taking Mulunga powder in the form of a tea, will this be enough to be able to leave of the rivotril. Also I am getting severe headaches about 1 a week.
I read your query and empathize with you current health concern.
In my opinion, Rivotril is essential for you. I understand that you want to leave it off. However, going by the history of severe anxiety and panic attacks, it is advisable for you to continue the drug. You could taper the dosage gradually and come off it. You need a Psychiatrist's help concerning this. I doubt if you can do it alone, by yourself.
I am sorry; I am not aware if Mulunga powder to comment on it.
Please get a review evaluation done by your treating Psychiatrist.
Hope you come out of this drug, and would be able to lead a normal life without any panic and anxiety.
Get well soon. Regards,
