Suffer From Severe Migraines, Dizziness And Disorientation. Worried About Having MS

I suffer from severe migraines and my neurologist is looking into early MS.. he gave me some ideas for relieving some of the pain and one of them was to press on the muscles in the back of my neck while fully extended. I tried this and I got very dizzy, disoriented and felt very faint within seconds of doing this... is there a reason that might happen?

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. Migraines can be devastating and the kind of migraines you have seem to especially cripple you as you also are worried about having MS. One way to allay your anxiety about this is to get an MRI done to get things sorted out. If your MRI is okay, your migraines are probably the reasons for your symptoms and treating your migraines with triptans, propranolol and rest with a regular routine will help. I am sure you know the ropes. Consult a neurologist if things do not improve.

I hope this helps. Take care of yourself and have a lovely day!
