Hello dear..
All these symptoms indicate that your might be having Pharyngitis.
Presence of high fever & headache indicate infective etiology.

Management includes:
1. Gargle with warm salt water to relieve throat pain.
2. Analgesics like paracetamol to relieve fever & headache.
3. Antibiotics depending upon culture & sensitivity reports to remove the causative organism.
4. Antihistamine preparations can also be used to provide symptomatic relief.
If symptoms still persist...it will be better to consult a Pediatrician for further management.

Meanwhile...he should avoid taking cold food & drinks, maintain adequate hydration & take soft, non-spicy foods.
Wish him good health & a speedy recovery.
Thanks & take care.

Emergency Medicine Specialist Dr. Dr. R.A. SINGH's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that your child is having upper respiratory tract infection.
He should be properly investigated for proper treatment.

You get following investigations done :-
1. Throat swab culture.
2. Complete Blood Count (CBC).

It will be helpfulif you mention his age and weight.
He should be given antihistaminic like cetrizine for sore throat.
Paracetamol can be given for fever and headache.
Antibiotic can be given accordingto the culture/senstivity reports of the throat swab.

You should give him any medicine only after getting him examined clinically.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
