Suffering Cold And Swelling In Left Side Gland, Blood Work Shows Raise In Calcium. History Of Breast Cancer. Could This Be Related?
Hi.. My Mum had breast cancer just over 5 years ago. She got a cold about 3 weeks ago that lasted 5 days, during that time she noticed her glands and the left side near her ear were swollen, this still hasn t gone down, it doesn t hurt, the doctor has taken her blood and she has slightly raised calcium , do you think this could be related to breast cancer? Or do you think it could be linked to her cold?

As there is h/o cold, these lymph nodes might be due to throat infection.
Pleas see that are there any enlarge lymph nodes in her axilla ?
But as there is h/o of breast cancer, get her examined by cancer surgeon or Gynaec to rule out any relation with old problem.
