Suffering Form Hair Loss. What Type Of Treatment Should Be Taken To Reduce Hair Fall?

hi sir,, am 27 and facing hair hair fall prob. for last 5 years ... my hair line was decling about to cornals ... how much it went means right side 2and half and left side 1 and half .... and havind havy haiir fall prob. while taking bath almost 50 to 100 strips falling ... suggust me how can i stop my hair falling prob. and is there any hope regrowth while using any madicine or lotions...

As per your query you have hair fall problem which according to you are falling very fast.
Our hair normally fall every day. The number of normal hair falling varies from few hair to up to 50-100 per day. Now if your hair falling more than 100s per day then it is definitely a problem. If it is not then you have to understand hair fall as normal process of day to day life.

We have almost 1 lac hair on our scalp and amongst them around 5% of hair are in falling phase and then another 0.1% (around 100) of hair can fall everyday. Other than normal process, it can be due to nutritional, due to some illness such as fever or related disease and last but not the least stress of any kind.

I would like to guide you best regarding diet. You should know that our hair are basically made up of proteins and supported by certain simple biochemical known as minerals and vitamins. So every of the food item which contains good amount of proteins with vitamins and minerals are best for maintenance and growth of good hair.

So you can follow the kind of dietary plan below:
1. Eat at least 3-4 fruits per day. Every fruit is good but you can make a combination of sour with sweet fruits such as oranges, papaya and other of seasonal fruits.
2. Pulses are good source of proteins. So everyday have a bowel full of mixed pulses. Add green leafy vegetables additionally in the pulses which contains lot of iron and vitamins in it.
3. Sprouts are the best source of fibers, minerals vitamins and proteins too. so add it at-least alternate day if you can not make in everyday's part of meal.
4. Over night soaked and peeled almonds will give you good vitamin E which is good for the hair growth.
5. Milk and milk products should be included in everyday's schedule.
6. If you drink tea or coffee then replace it either with herbal tea or green tea.

Follow the above plan for atleat 3 months minimally if you don't have much of hair fall. If you have more than 100 hair falling everyday then it would be better to consult a dermatologist who can check for the best possible related cause of your hair fall.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well it may be due to androgenic alopecia . It is the most common cause of hair loss and will affect up to 70% of men . genetics has a great role to play in this.

The diagnosis can be based on clinical presentation in men.Further evaluation of the differential requires exclusion of other causes of hair loss, and Trichoscopy can be done for further evaluation.

A nutitious healthy diet with exercise regimen is recommended.Hair loss can be slowed or reversed with FDA approved drugs namely minoxidil and finasteride generally used topically.

Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) is the latest treatment . Consult a trichologist for expert help.
