Suffering Form Severe Hair Fall After Taking Lexapro, Lamictal And Fluvoxamine. Which Medicine Should Be Responsible?

I have been on Lexapro for many years and now am taking lamictal along with fluvoxamine. I feel like I've also been experiencing a more significant amount of hair loss then normal and wondering if the fluoxetine could be responsible or the lamictal?

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Both Lamotrigene and Fluoxetine are not well known drugs to cause telogen effluvium or hair fall. However, having said that, the hair cycle could get disrupted by any drug and could result in excessive shedding called as telogen effluvium. It could also occur because of mental stressors and other physical ailments in the last 4-6 months. So if the addition of 2 more drugs to your regime was because of a worsening of your disease process ( which you have not mentioned) , the excessive shedding of hair can be attributed to that.
You could take oral biotin supplements and give another 2-3 months for the hair cycle to be restored to normalcy.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
