Hello Dr, I m 27 yrs old female, I m hyperthyroid patient taking Thyronorm 25mcg, since 2yrs... Unsually gaining weight, frequent pain in chest ribs, My doctor told me to take calcium supply SHELCAL-500. Can i have lemon juice in empty stomach ,since i am taking my thyroid tab in empty stomach. Now, please tell me Do s and Don t P.S. How do i lose weight? Please help me !!
i presume you were treated for hypothyroidism with thyronorm. It is preferable to take thyronorm in empty stomach and taking lemon juice with thyronorm may not be advisable. weight reduction requires decreased energy intake and increased energy expenditure. It would be preferabble to avoid fast foods, fried foods, aerated drinks, icecreams, chips and food rich in calories. Regular physical activity and excercise is required to reduce weight.
