Suffering From Laryngitis, Unable To Talk And Coughing All The Time. Took Injections And C Pack
I know what is wrong I don't know what it means and I don't know how to spell it,i will try to spell it the best I can and maybe you can tell by my spelling.larngicites. I can"t talk and I amy choughing all most all the time.The Dr. gave a shot and a c pack. I had to go bact to get two shot sence then to the emurgecy room at the hostipal today and he gave me another shot and said if I was not any better tomorrow com back and get another shot and if I was not any better Monday to go back to my doctor to get some more anibocits to take.
Hi and thanks for the query, Laryngitis is infection of the voice box. Do not worry. You will be ok. It is usually viral so antibiotics are not prescribed initially. If you do not feel better in a couple of days then you may require antibiotics. You will also require cough suppressants. Please ask your doctor to prescribe some cough suppressant. Till then please some geenral measures should be followed : 1) Give complete voice rest. 2) Steam inhalation 4 times daily. 3) Drink plenty of warm fluids. 4) Avoid cold foods and air conditioning.
