Suffering From PCOS, Having Pregnancy Symptoms. Negative HPT Tests. Am I Pregnant?
Hi I have PCOS and I am on metformin er 500mg for last 2 months. My periods come exactly at 36 days after I started metformin. I am 10 days late for my periods and HPT test is showing negative result. Me and my husband trying since last 3 months. I have blotting little cramps and fatigue since last 2 weeks. Do u think I am pregnant?
Hi, Thanks for your question. All the usual signs & symptoms of pregnancy are pretty non-specific & you need to have a lab evidence to confirm pregnancy. PCOS patients may have late periods & this is not an indicator of pregnancy in them. If you want to be 100% sure go for a blood pregnancy test. If this is negative you can't be pregnant. Best of luck.
