Suffering From PCOS, Irregular Periods. Is PCOS Curable? Various Treatments To Cure Irregular Periods?

hello doctor, my age is 32 years old woman, i have PCOS problem, irregular periods, weight gain, unwanted hairs in face, legs, chest etc, and hair loss problem in head scalp. i have taken treatment in all allopathy, homepathy. What my problem is if i take medicine periods will come regular, if i stop periods also stop. i totally feedup with taking medicines. please let me know if PCOS is cureable disease, if so let me what are the other various to cure my irregular periods.

Hello,
It is very unfortunate that PCOS can not be cured completely but it can be controlled pretty well and it is important also because uncontrolled PCOS leads to
Infertility,diabetes,miscarriages,heart disease and uterine cancer.
The basic treatment for PCOS is dong exercises daily,taking healthy diet and shedding of weight.
Other treatments given are metformin and oral birth control pills ( if you don't want children).Oral contraceptives helps in regularisation of periods.
If female wants to have pregnancy,then medicines like CLOMID are prescribed.
It is said that a mere reduction of 10% of your weight can regularise your periods.
