Suffering From Abdominal Pain And Vomiting After Gall Bladder Operation
Hello , My mother undergone a gall bladder removal operation almost 3 years back. From then on she suffers with severe vomiting , upper abdominal pain , diarrohea at times. Gastroenterologists found no clue so far as the scans and other tests are normal. Could you kindly suggest what else could be the reason. Thanks for your suggestion. Madhavi

thanks a lot for reply. yes the Endoscopy is normal. She do have bloating , buring track kind of problems. I have searched few other sites where they mentioned that Magnesium rich foods and supliments will have a magical affect on Post Cholecystectomy Syndrome. Is that true? Once again many thanks.
i would agree to the first as it could be bile salt diarrhea or it would be entirely a different pathology. the pathology could be associated to pancreas or psychosis. i would like to further investigate this patient for her reflux and pancreas pathology. for normal endoscopy reflux patient, a 24 Hr esophageal Ph meter is ideal and i guess that could also give us a fair idea
