Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
The treatment prescribed by your doctor seems good enough to treat acne.
Doxycycline is an oral antibiotic to treat acne and deriva gel is an adapalene based gel ( a retinoid) to treat acne while demelan is a Glycolic acid, Kojic acid, arbutin based depigmenting cream to reduce acne marks.
Firstly to decrease acne considerably treatment needs to be continued from two to three months. Acne is basically a hormonal issue and can recur again hence maintenance treatment is required to keep skin acne free. To prevent acne from recurring once skin has cleared off
one should apply anti acne gel over acne prone areas to prevent flare of acne.
Also use a salicylic acid based face wash twice in a day
Get your comedones extracted regularly
Occurrence of occasional one or two acne lesion is common, do not manipulate these lesions. Apply adapalene gel along with clindamycin gel to help them heal easily.
Continue with demelan over pigmentation marks till they reduce completely.

Hope that would help.
Take care.
