Suffering From Anemia. Taking Iron Pills, Tiredness, Moody. History Of Bleeding Ulcers. Cure?

lat year I had 3 bleeding ulcers and had 4 unit of blood given to me, my HGB was 6 at the time. Now this year I am anemic on iron pills. My iron is 27, iron saturation is 7, ferritin 10, WBC 4.1 and RBC distribution is 16.8. Should I be concerned? Before I was prescribed the iron pills, I was tired, moody, exhausted and now I feel better being on pills. My HGB now is 12. Thank you

Now that you have improved with your blood levels, don't bother. Get the stool for occult blood checked. Add lot of green leafy vegetables in your diet.
