Suffering From Anxiety, Depression. Has Aversion To Sun Light. Is This A Sign Of Illness?

Hello, I have noticed that my 17-year-old daughter who has anxiety/depression, (PMS) has an aversion to sun light. Her paternal Grandmother is the same way. I tell her the sun would make her feel better(does wonders for me) but she insists on closing the curtains. Is there an illness that matches these symptoms? Never mind, I didn't realize I would have to pay...

Hi, thanks for calling Health care magic forum.
You have reacted in the correct time , as it can lead to epilepsy, called photosensitive epilepsy. The treatment with anti epileptics relieves the photosensitivity and prevent epilepsy.
So i advise you to consult a neuro physician. You may need to have E.E.G. besides other tests for diagnosis.
Avoid direct sun light, T.V, and computer for prolonged periods.
