Suffering From Arthritis. Had Fever, Chest Pain. CT Scan, What Are The Findings?

My. MOM. Suffering from arthritis. Few days ago. She suffers from fever. For over a month. Nw after sm medication. Fever is gone. But When she suffers from fever. There is pain in her chest. Which is still there. We did her city scan and following things appear. 1. Non contrast 5 and 10mm contiguous sections were obtained from lung apex inferiorly encompassing costophronic recesses. 2. A small area of consolidation is seen in left lingular segment.few fibrotic bands are also seen in left lower lobe 3. Few subeentimetric lymph nodes are also seen in right axilla Please help. Me out. What does these mean. Our doctor does not know what exactly the problem. We. Have the reports. We are confused and depressed. Kindly give us some solution. Soon

Thanks for posting,

From the look of things, it is most likely that your mother might be having a chronic lung diseases with the most probable cause being lung cancer or tuberculosis which will require a pulmonologist to confirm after evaluating your mother with laboratory work up, Chest x-ray etc.
I suggest you get your mother see a pulmonologist.
