General & Family Physician, Dr. Ravi Kant's Response
HI,
chest pain associated with breathing points toward some pathology like pleuritis, pneummonia or even aggravation of COPD like asthma or chronic bronchitis.you should consult a chest specialist and go for complete physical examination. ECG and echocardiography should be done to rule out cardiac pathology, blood pressure should be taken, TLC ,DLC, ESR,chest X ray and PEFR should be done.avoid smoking and follow your physician , you will be ok very soon.
thanks for consulting HCM.
