Hi

I have gone through your query regarding cold for a week followed by blockade in ear and pain. Your progress of disease is as-

Your cold for a week had given rise to infection in your throat by post nasal drip, from throat a tubular connection exist between throat and middle ear of that side ( Eustachian tube ). By this connection had reached to middle ear and thus your ear problem developed.

Now you may take-

(a) Tab Paracetamol.

(b) Tabcetrizine (10 mg )

(c) Steam inhalation.

I hope this will help you.

Regards.
