Suffering From Constant Sound Inside Ears. Increases During Nights. Treatment?

My mother has been suffering from constant sound from inside her ears. She cant understand if the sound is from inside her ears or from inside the head. But the sound is constantly there. when the sound is louder, she feels very irritated. At nights specially, the sounds are more louder (as she feels, or may be because of the silence around). She took ayurvedic treatment for this, where some medicated oils were given to be applied to the head. The ayurveda doctor told her that she has weak nerves. She used to be a regular neurobion taker but since last few years, have reduced its intake. Also, she has osteoporosis . Please suggest if there is any treatment?

Well,according to ayurveda the ears and bones have close relation.The reason is due to both matters with vayu (ashryasthana).
So the treatment must have a broad spectrum with vayu+bones+ears.Now only ears are considered the treatment differs than that of cumulative pathogenesis(samprpti) which is not acceptable.
Treatment=
1)the tikta shkir basti is essential
2)application (snehana) to ear(outer+inner filing) is essential with shkar tailam/narayan/mahanarayana tailam/sukumar tailam.
3)dashmool+vidanga+danti+yashtika+surdaru+nisha+bala dicocction is helpful with dhanwanter/sukumar/mahatiktak/bhalatak ghritam;thrice a day.
According to my experience of nadi chikitsa these medication helps a lot.The basic thing is to diagnose the disease according to ayurveda.For this you should refer to your ayurvedic expert first.Hope this answer will help you.

ur mother seems to be suffering from tinnitus , a ringing or similar sensation of sound in ears, it is not a disease but a condition caused due to various underlying diseases eg; neurological damage, ear infections, foreign objects in ear, nasal allergies in which fluid cant get drained (sinusitis), wax build up and excessive exposure to loud sounds. these are few of the reasons.
it could be subjective or objective.
u must visit an ENT specialist for proper evaluation of ur mom's condition. and a further management can be decided upon. a homoeopathic medicine Kali Mur 6x can be useful. but advise u to visit an ENT first.
