Suffering From Frequent Urination, Pain Near Prostrate. Normal Blood And Urine Tests. What Is The Cure?
Hi, I'm having frequent urination problems, at least 7 times during the night and about 20 during the day. I've already been to a doctor and had urine and blood tests all coming back negative. I'm not feeling any pain just that I'm having to pee a lot. I Guess I should say that ocassionlly I feel a little pain where my prostate is located when i pee but this is only during the night

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vidya KR's Response
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Normally a person voids 3 lit of urine per day. if its more then it needs to be evaluated.diabetes mellitus, diabetes insipidus, renal problems.
Blood sugar (glucose) test, Blood urea nitrogen test, Creatinine (serum), Electrolytes (serum), Fluid deprivation test (limiting fluids to see if the urine volume decreases), Osmolality blood test, Urinalysis, Urine osmolality test. as you have already got few test done you can get other test done consult a doctor for further examination. As you have mentioned pain in prostate region , prostate infection can also result in increased frequency.
Hope this helps you.
Regards
