Suffering From Joint Pain, Extreme Fatigue And Anxiety. Are These Symptoms Of Lupus?
I have several symtoms of lupus or chronic fatigue syndrome type illness . Joint pain, mostly in hands and feet, extreme fatigue, o.c.d, and anxiety. Doctor s believe the fatigue and pain is not real, due to the mental issues. I had Parvovirus and Epstein-Barre show up on blood work at different times as an adult but the Doctor s do not seem to be concerned about it. Could a viral infection have compromised my immune system or should I push for Lupus testing? Thank you
You are Suffering from joint pain, extreme fatigue and anxiety, and how did you doubt that these are associated with lupus? There lies the problem.
I sincerely doubt your ability to diagnose physical problems because you are not trained in that field. Therefore you just has to believe what is confirmed by several doctors in your case. If you are not satisfied with them, find a doctor whom you can believe fully and get yourself checked. But then there should not be any further query.
Anxiety can create physical problems called somatoform disorders. Consult a psychologist for health counseling. I can help you if you desire so.
Get well soon.
