Suffering From Menorrhagia. Taking Medication, Condition Improved, Worsened. Recommendations?

I have had menorrhagia for 7 weeks now, I have been to the doctors and he prescribed norethisterone 3 times a day for 10 days, at no point have I stopped bleeding however it has got lighter. It has been 8 days since I completed the course and I am still bleeding and getting heavier again. Should I go back to the doctors or give it another couple do days to work?

Hello,
Thanks for coming to HCM. You should visit your gynecologist for further evaluation for the cause. Also you need blood test for monitoring of hemoglobin level. If you had ultrasound of pelvis done recently, please give us the report.
Wish you good health.
