Suffering From Pain In The Right Eye Lid & Eventually A Blood Clot

I had a Pain over the lid of my Right eye.
I Put my cold hand over it to re-leave it some.
Then the pain went away, but I ended up with Blood in my eye
that looked like a blood clot .
It is starting to go away now, is it anything to be worried about?
Thank You , Brenda

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Swelling of lid has lead to bleeding in conjunctiva. It is self limiting and does not require any treatment. Nothing to worry. It will go way.
