I have pain under my left rib cage, i have seen my family doctor he gave me prilosec but it still feels like burning. I also have seen a urgent care doctor he said that i have gas on my intestines so he gave me miralax and it still feels like burning what do you recommend???
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should first get done ecg to rule out cardiac cause. If ecg is normal then you are mostly having gastritis. Along with drugs you need to follow these lifestyle modifications for better symptomatic relief. 1. Avoid stress and tension. 2. Avoid hot and spicy food. 3. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals. 4. Go for walk after meals. 5. Keep 2-3 pillows under head in the bed. 6. Avoid smoking, alcohol, tea, coffee. 7. Loose weight if you are obese.
