Suffering From Pelvic Pain. Hsg Done, Shows Bilateral Blocked Fallopian Tubes. What Does This Mean?
i av done an hsg and this is what it says Findings: post adminnistration of water soluble contrast, the endometrial cavity filled freely and demonstrated a normal outline. No filling defect is identified within. Both fallopian tubes fill freely and demonstrate segmental dilation of the distal ends bilaterally. There is no spillage of contrast into the peritoneum on either side. Procedure abored as patient complained of pelvic pain . Impression : Bilateral blocked fallopian tubes.

it shows both fallopian tubes (tubes of uterus which collect ova from ovary into the uterus) to be blocked at far ends and patchy enlargements at the ends.
