Suffering From Pimples, Spots On Face. Prescribed Clindac Gel. Will It Effectively Cure Pimples?

Hello Dr XXXXXXXXX here actually my skin specialist told me to use that clindac gel as i have lots of pimples n sport so i want to know that is it work? or can you tell me the other alternate strong gel or tube as next week my engagement is der so i request you to assist me for the same. Hi Dr Pooja,
As you said that you have lots of pimples and spots, so just wanted you to know that clinda alone cannot solve your problem. Infact no oral or topical anti acne medication would yield result so fast in a week. However reduction of acne to some extent is possible if a proper comedone extraction followed by a glycolic peel or salicylic peel is done as it would yield faster results than other treatment modalities. At the same time I would suggest such treatment option should always be carried by an expert dermatologist to avoid any side effects. After your engagement(congrats for the same) however a treatment plan can be charted out for you to have an acne free and glowing skin. contact your dermatologist for the same. Take care.
