Suffering From Severe Headache With Blurry Vision & Dizziness
Hello I am 13 weeks pregnant I have had severe headaches lasting since last Thursday. As well I have been dizzy with blurred vision and I have noticed my feet starting to swell. My Dr. gave me Tylenol 3 s which seem to help the pain subside for a period of time but it ends up coming back.

First of all hearty congratulations on your pregnancy.I can understand what you are going through.Headaches is v common problem faced in starting of 2nd trimester as there is increase in blood volume of body.This will subside with time.sometimes pregnancy is known to precipitate migraines also.If I had similar patient visiting my clinic I would have started her on Tab paracetamol 500 mg on SOS basis.Also, you should not get up suddenly from lying down position.take enough sleep and keep your well hydrated by consuming 1 to 1.5 lts water along with juices and fruits everyday.For feets swelling up this early along with blurred vision ,I would recommend you to get your blood pressure regularly checked as many patients starts with hypertension in pregnancy which can create problems later.Also sleep with pillows under your legs to avoid swelling of foot.
