Suffering From Sharp Chest Pain

Hi I have suffered from anxiety for the last few years and get sharp pain in what seems to be my heart area. I had an ECG a few months ago and this came back fine but in the last week or so the pains in my chest have got worse. It s a sharp pain that only last a second and then comes back every 10mins or so. Is this just anxiety or could there be something wrong?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, your pain looks non cardiac i.e not due to heart problem. It might be due to gastritis or muscular pain. ECG is also normal . However if you are still concerned about the pain then get treadmill test to rule out heart problem.
