Suffering From Sore Throat

Hi Doctor, I have been suffering from sore throat since my childhood. My mother have same problem. I might have inherited it from her.If i eat banana, curd, ice cream, I will get sore throat within few hours. I am very sensitive to the cold.Can i go for tonsillectomy ? please sugget me permanent remedy for this.

sore throat is caused due to chronic infection aka some long term strep bacteria in your throat or may be due to allergies also.avoid tosillectomy. do warm salt water gargling a couple of times when u develop sorethroat. ur sorethroat has nothing to do with any foods or your mothers history.
