Suffering From Sore Throat

I have had a sore throat the last few days. Over night I started getting a cold too. I woke up this morning and the roof of my mouth is swollen and hanging over my throat. when I cough, it pushes the roof of my mouth forward and I have to swallow to get it to go back

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The sore throat can be because of the bacterial infection. Nothing to be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like azithromycin(if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling.
