Suffering From Stomach Infection, Red Blotches On Stomach And Breast. Taking Antibiotics. Should Is See An Oncologist?
hi my mother inlaw who it 74 got bad stomach infection a couple of weeks ago, in the bath room all the time. started feeling better taking antibiotics and now she ended up with red/purple bloches on her stomach and her breast and she said they feel hard... her doctor said she needed a sonogram and that she neede to se an oncologist???

Red /purple patches could be because of some bleeding disorder she has developed. Cause of such bleeding could be the same what her doctor has already suspected.
She requirs through investigation as advised by her doctor PLUS in terms of bleeding diathesis also.
