Suffering From Swelling On The Face And Throat, Itching And Irritation On The Body. Have Hypertension. What Is Wrong?

my mother is 52 yrs of age , and she has TLC -0000, neutrophiles -72 , lymphocytes -23 , monocytes-2 , eosinophils -3 , basophils -0 . frequently she suffers from swelling on face , throat , or sometimes on other parts of the body along with itching and irritation .she is a high BP patient for which she is taking regular tablets of 50 mg (zaret) daily . kindly advice what is the problem .

Hello and welcome to HCM

The blood examination reveals a normal differential count.
Please post the total leucocyte counts (TLC) again.
The frequent swelling on face , throat or other parts of body can be due some kind of allergy.
Try to observe whether you are getting this swelling after consuming some particular type of food.
Swelling of this type can also occur after an insect bite.

Besides these causes there are other causes too eg angioneurotic edema. It is caused by deficiency of certain type of protein in body.

Consult your doctor for correct diagnosis after appropriate investigations.
