sore throat or throat infection usually results in throat pain and coryza like symptoms or pyrexia. I have successfully tried a very simple formula many a times. i believe you are not hypertensive. Just keep a pinch of salt at the end of your throat as last thing at night and go to sleep. It maintains saline coating for pretty long time and by next morning you start feeling better. From herbal medicines you can have kanth sudharak vati to be sucked. godanti bhasam with marichadi churan with hot water.
