Suffering From Type 1 Insulin Dependent Insulin. High Sugar Levels. Medication Side Effects?

I have type 1 insulin dependent diabetes . i went to my doctor this morning for a respratory infection and was given a breathing treatment, a shot (i assume prednisone ), and prscriptions for levaquin and cherrtussin ac. Now my blood sugars are running high where they werent before even though I was sick & i am itchy. can this be a side effect of one of the medicines?

replace levaquin with augmentin 625 twice daily replace codiene with terbutalie formulated cough syrup :)
