Suffering From Typhoid. Low Grade Fever In Afternoon. Took 10 Days Course. Solution?

Hello...... I have been suffering from typhoid. 17th of july I was hospitalized and monocef injection was prescribed....Till date every morning there is no fever but in afternoon.... I notice low grade fever. 99 to 99.5. Is it's normal to have such...... Other test has also been done like blood culture, urine culture, ultrasound, colonoscopy, ct scan of ribs...... All the reports are normal except typhoid is positive. So from 1st sept I again took 10 days ka typhoid course.... But still the 99 fever is consistent.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
You mentioned in your query that you took 10 days course of cetriazone 1 gm ( I think) fro typhoid fever .
Every test report is normal except Typhoid , so would you please upload the report over this site.
In my opinion 10 days treatment is sufficient for typhoid , if it is.
Now there is evening rise of temperature and the cause of your fever is not typhoid in my opinion.
Get in X ray chest , blood for C BC & E S R , serum bilirubin level .
One month ( roughly ) back your all reports were normal ,but now we require a fresh report.
Usually evening rise of temperature is in tuberculosis I have seen in so many patients.
So please consult another physician a fresh and get his opinion.
