Hello and welcome,

Thanks for your query.

Let me explain a few things to you before we move to your question.

1. Malaria is acquired most commonly by the bite of a host mosquito, which introduces the disease into your blood stream. This can be treated with the help of anti-malarial medications under the supervision of a doctor. It does not recur due to any remnants of the infection in your blood if you take the full course. It can only recur if you live or move in an area where mosquitoes are common.

The best way to prevent this is by wearing clothes that cover your body, mosquito repellant creams are easily available over the counter and you can apply the same in areas that are exposed or even those that are not. They are affordable and easy to apply or remove.

2. Typhoid: spread through the ingestion of food (rarely water) that is contaminated by the organism that causes typhoid. This can be treated by a course of antibiotics, and can be eliminated from your body if you follow the instructions of a doctor and take special care while preparing food at home, avoid eating in unhygienic places outside, and follow good hygiene (washing hands regularly with a good soap, etc.)

It cannot otherwise recur.

3. Jaundice is just a symptom, and is not the disease. From your post, I am guessing you have acquired the same from eating or drinking from an unhygienic source, place. (Hepatitis E virus). This has a fecal-oral transmission as explained above.

Now, coming to your question. The permanent cure for this would be to live with good hygiene, eat and drink in places (if you have to eat from outside) which follow good hygiene while handling and preparing their food. Avoid drinking water from unreliable sources.

For now, please visit a doctor to get yourself checked and to make a diagnosis. Kindly follow the treatment advise the doctor gives you, and I am sure you will recover in no time.

I hope I have succeeded in answering your questions, you could write back to us anytime for further clarifications.

Best wishes.
