Hi, I guess the treatment will remain the same. first let the fever and cough come down then see what the real cause was behind it. if it is asthma it will recur, if bronchitis, it will continue. there is something called as lung function test to find out if it is asthma. this is wghat was done for me. And asthma can develop due to allergy also, it need not be necessary to run in family, as even i dont have any family history of it, but i do suffer from it. the cause for me is pollen.

As doctor use to say there is no treatment of allergy in Allopath, only it can be controlled.

Bronchitis is the inflamamtion of the bronchi. They are different froma sthma , but the treatment usually is same. There is not much difference in the treatment. You can give the syrup which the doctor has given for your child.

asthma means both constricyion and inflamation of airway..bronchitis means inflamation of airway...
