HELLO AND WELCOME,
how often do you visit a dentist?
consult a dentist and get your mouth checked.bad breath is due to accumulated plaque and food debris as a result of poor oral hygiene.there can be bleeding gums and gingivits associated.
get your teeth cleaned.root planning and deep scaling can be done.use soft-interdental toothbrush and dental floss to clean your teeth.
brush your teeth in upper jaw from top to bottom and in lower jaw from down to up.
maintain good oral hygiene.clean your mouth after every meals.use chlorhexidine containing mouthwash to prevent plaque accumulation.
sensitvity while eating cold fluids may be due to any decay associated.
get your teeth checked for any dental caries and get it restored depending on its pulp involvement.
use sensodent like desensitising tooth-paste to relieve tooth-sensitivity.
avoid citric-acid containing fruits.if there is cervical abrasion due to faulty toothbrushing done, get it restored with tooth coloured materials like GIC,COMPOSITE RESINS.
take care

you should fix an appointment with a dental surgeon as soon as possible.I think you are having all these problems due to your poor oral hygine......get your teeth cleaned and polished properly and follow the doctor's instructions to maintain proper oral hygine.Meanwhile you can apply metronidazole +chlorhexidine oral gel such as metrohex etc.thrice daily,it will help a bit.also rinse your mouth with hot saline water 3 to 4 times daily.Don't forget to consult your dentist!wish you good health .thank you.

Hello Welcome to HCM Dental health Public forum,
Bad breath can be because of so many reasons,
-Poor oral hygiene
-Gastritis
-Long Intervals b/w meals
-Dryness of mouth
-Tooth Decay, etc.

You have mentioned about sensitivity, which can be due to attrition or abrasion.
If at all you are using hard bristles brush kindly shift to soft bristle brush immediately and follow the correct technique of brushing.
For time being you can use normal saline mouth wash, desensitising tooth pastes like sensodyne, colgate sensitive prorelief, sensodent and use desensitising mouth wash also for better result.
Remember while using desensitisng paste which you need to apply all over the teeth surfaces and leave it for 4-5 mins and brush your teeth with soft brush and in correct technique(Get guidance from your dentist)

You need visit dentist to find out the exact cause for the bad breath, sensitivity and get treated accordingly.

All the best,

Thanks & Regards,

Hello
Welcome to HCM
I went through your problem & would like to tell you few common reasons for foul odor:-
-improper oral hygiene
-dry mouth or xerostomia
-gastric problem
-hormonal imbalance

Most common reason is improper oral hygiene. How many times you brush is not as important as how you brush. You hold your brush with 45 degree angulation to your teeth and give gentle strokes.
Change your brush every 3 months. Start using sensitive paste like Sensodent-k along with 0.2%chlorhexidine mouthwash once daily half an hour after brushing.
Also go for oral prophylaxis once every 6 months & start intake of citrous fruits.
Take Care

Regards
Dr.Neha
