Suffering With Cough And Cold, Blood Stain In Mucus, Pain On Right Side Of Face. Treatment?
I am 27 years old.I have been suffering with cough and cold since 6days.Recently sometime I have seen some blood stain into the thick mucus coming out from nose through mouth. but while the thick mucus coming out from my chest by coughing it s normal, there is no blood strain in it. What could be the reason and what steps need to take? and one side of my face including eye nerves, right ear and nostril (Right side) are paining during forceful expulsion of mucus. Kindly suggest me some medication or seriousness of the problem steps to avoid any further damage
Hi Welcome to HMC According to your symptoms cold, cough, pain on one side of face including eyes, ear and nostril followed by blood stained mucus from nose, you could be having sinus infection i.e., sinusitis (para nasal sinuses).kindly consult an ENT (ear nose throat specialist for evaluation. If disease is severe enough you may require intravenous antibiotics.
