Suggest Ayurvedic Treatment For Anxiety Since The COVID-19 Lockdown Despite Ciplar And Etizolam Medication

Hi Lately i have some anxiety n nervousness issues..i never had these issues until corona started..there was a fear and since lockdown confined everything to online world and lot of negativity worsened the things and after that there were sleep problems also..i consulted a doctor who prescribed ciplar 10 and etizolam 0.5 for one month..things were fine for few months but same problem arises after few months.. Also i m get feeling of being high..like after few drink..and it gets fine when i play some game ..i concentrate on soneting .. I want to know what this condition is and what are the treatment available in ayurveda..

Hi,

i. Because the choice of medicine will vary from doctor to doctor, and from locality to locality, so initially remain under single supervision and let your body know about the effects of the drug prescribed and thereafter one can change / add or substitute a drug [in consultation with your attending physician.

ii. Eat a healthy diet, stay away from caffeine, alcohol, spices, pickles, drink green tea, take an apple, banana, dates, practice relaxation techniques like yoga, meditation, and Pranayam.

iii. Since drug therapy is generally only a palliative treatment, we have to look at cognitive and behavioral strategies and especially nutritional strategies.
