Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of feeling of pressure in the ears which seems to be due to dysfunction of Eustachian tube as you have cough and congestion as well. It could be due to due to fluid accumulation behind the eardrum. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take antibiotic and anti-inflammatory drugs combination such as Levofloxacin along with Levocetirizine. Avoid touching or pricking ear with any sharp object. For infection in ear antibiotic ear drops and decongestant nasal sprays. Maintain cleanliness of ear and avoid pricking it. You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated. You should go for otoscopy examination as well to find out cause and exact extent of infection. Treatment can be planned accordingly. Draining of pus can also be done by physician.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Hi,
Welcome To Healthcare magic.

I can understand your concern regarding to your health.

Pressure in ear, to fall down when you try to get up, blocked nose and throat congestion these all happen because of your cold and cough. I have treated number of patients like this, so I prescribe you tablet Azithral (if no allergy) 500 mg, 1 tablet daily either before an hour of meal or after 2 hours of meal, at the interval of 24 hours for 5 days. And tablet Fabrex plus (if no allergy), 3 times in a day, at the interval of 7-8 hours, for 3-5 days. Also start liquid Tossex-DMR (if no allergy), 5 ml, 3 times in a day, at the interval of 7-8 hours, for 3-5 days. Apply Nasivion nasal spray (if no allergy) 2 times in a day at the interval of 12 hours for nose block for 3-5 days.

Start gargling of warm water added with salt, 5-6 times in a day, at the interval of 4 hours. Also take lemon juice of warm water. Avoid cold water, freeze food, chocolates, ice creams, cold drinks. After doing all these things, if you will not feel better, then consult ENT specialist.

After doing all these things, I hope you will get well sooner and please share your review about my answer on healthcare magic.

Take Care,
Thank You.
