Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello, I get a good workout 3 days a week from my pool service cleaning company. After 8 months I ve built muscle, but have lost only 5 pounds. My clothing size has increased, as my fat layer just stayed on top my new muscle. I ve recently started doing more time at the gym (30 min) and jogging/ walking with my dog. It seems like my body is repositioning itself, but ive not lost any additional weight. ugh!! I ve now started watery vegetable soups for dinner (beef broth) with protein and quinoa in them. what OTC supplement is going to mgive me a boost for results??
There is a fundamental brain distortion here: parts of the deep brain retained through evolution for their survival benefit take in all internal and external signals.
These are processed/distorted, stored and responded to emotionally and physically at 10 times the speed of conscious thought. The third-biggest distortion is to always be going after the good stuff--belief that just getting the right thing fixes everything.
Obviously, starvation/fasting/less food/loss of calories would be the right thing for weight loss. A recent NEJM article finally admitted fasting/starvation is key to weight loss.
But, you DO have to have adequate water intake and adequate b vitamin intake. Either the cheapest multivitamin or fresh brewers yeast (which is the basis of the multivitamin anyway).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
