Suggest A Home Remedy For Conjunctivitis Caused After An Eye Injury

have conjunctivitis and have heard that a diluted solution of lemon juice and cooled boiled water would be good for it. Is this true or would I be doing more harm than good, the conjunctivitis started 2 and a half weeks ago after an eye injury from a toddlers chewed toy.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having conjunctivitis following a injury.
Lemon juice being alkali can cause damage to the eye surface.
The antibiotic eye drops are the definitive treatment.
Since you had a injury eye examination is necessary to rule out damage to the eye caused by injury.
Hence I advice you to use antibiotic eye drops and to consult your doctor to rule out eye injury.

Thank you
