Suggest A Medication For Vaginal Infection During Pregnancy

i am having vaginal infection and the symptoms are vaginal itching and white discharge,i am 6 month pregnant,my docter suggest me to wash with betadine lotion and apply candid clotrimazole cream,is this safe to use now?is this will affect my baby growth,if yes suggest me a good medicine

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion vaginal infection you got is fungal infection ie.,candidiasis.Candidiasis is the most common infection in pregnancy.And for this infection in pregnancy clotrimazole cream and betadine lotion are given.Dont worry they are not harmful.You can safely take them.Dont worry it will subside.
