Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

You have developed Post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation/PIH.
PIH is a non-specific reaction to any inflammatory insult to the skin and manifest as dark patches.
PIH is a very common in response to fungal infections of the groin. However, these dark patches usually resolves with time provided the infection is kept in check.
If I was the treating doctor I would have suggested a pigment lightening cream e.g kojic acid based cream once or twice daily to hasten its resolution.
This is a prescription product and therefore I suggest you to talk to a doctor for the needful.

Regards
