Suggest A Remedy For Dark, dry And Flaky Nose Pits?
hi i had darkening on the sides of my nose , nose pits , 3 years back i applied melalite forte and it became more black , now from past 3 years i feel always my nose is dark and dry and flaky . i have applied many steroid based creams also like flutivate, fucibet , fucidine , quadriderm but all seems to be useless. as long as there is cream or moist nose is ok but than its dry, flaky and white flakes comes out . i am fed up , pls suggest what to do
Steroid based creams when used for long duration can have severe side effect on fave causing darkness or Hyperpigmentation,, acne, thinning of skin etc..
It looks like in your case too the side effects are increa due to side effects of steroid based creams.
So it is better to consult a skin specialist and get evaluated. Tapering down the steroids and gradully stopping the application of the same will help in reducing side effect.
You can start using Salicylic acid containing facewash. Applying kojic acid containing creams can also help in reducing pigmentation. Scrub the nose and face twice a week. Use aloevera gel at night.
Hope I have answered your query. Please let me know if I can assist you further.
