Suggest A Remedy For Fever, Weakness, Sore Throat And Burning Sensation On Tongue

Hey Doc, i am 23 year male . I had an unprotected oral sex with a girl of unknown status on 25th june and i got viral on 21st september which make me uneasy for more than 2months (fever for 4 days and then weakness all over my body , after one month persistent sore throat , body aches , sometimes night sweats and white tongue etc) .. I got my self tested for hiv on 24oct, 9th nov , 10 dec(cmia after 5.5 month mark) all came out negative but still today i have white tongue with some burning sensation at its tip no else symptom is there but sometime i got rash on my chest and sore throat .. I am scared ... Please please help me

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of fever, weakness, sore throat and burning sensation. Well the symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition like upper respiratory tract infection . There can be many causes for this condition like bacterial or viral infection . I would suggest you to do warm saline rinses , take steam and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain. You should consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test and blood test to confirm the diagnoses . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics (amoxicillin or penicillin ) at least for a week , decongestants along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also prescribe multivitamin supplement for quick recovery and for weakness .
