Suggest A Remedy For Persistent Pain In Ribs Post Injury

Hi there, I have hurt my ribs on the right side boogy boarding at the beach. I injured them about a month back and the pain was intense to begin with. The pain has improved but a month later it still hurts laying on that side when I sleep. I was aware that not a lot can be done for broken ribs, even though this hasn t been confirmed as such. What do you suggest I do?? Thank you very much, Hayden

Noted according to your complaint three possibility is present......
1.muscular strain

3.costochondritis....

Here for muscular pain and costochondritis rest is taken and analgesic useful....

Costochondritis means inflammation of ribs particularly cartilage ....

For rib fracture you have to do chest x ray...

If need compression bandage applied.....

Meanwhile .......
Take rest.
Avoid heavy exercise
