I have a grinding and catching in one of my hip joints. The actual grinding isn t comfortable, but isn t very painful either. I am mostly concerned that it is doing damage to my joint. Should I be worried about it, or is it no big deal? A little background info might be helpful. I am 18, but I have been doing ballet for many years, so I have stressed my joints a fair amount. Along with that I have genetically very stretchy ligaments and tendons, which has led to a recurring issue with my hip, shoulder, and knee cap sliding out of place doing normal activities.
