Suggest A Remedy For Severe Throat Infection Despite Being On Antibiotics

DEAR SIR . GOOD MORNING I AM SUFFERING THROAT INFECTION ABOVE 7-8 YEARS . IT OCCUR IN 3-4 TIMES IN MONTH.FOR TREATMENT MANY ANTIBIOTICS PRESCRIBED BY MANY DR. NOW I AM TIRED BY EATING DRUGS e.g. Azithromycin, CEFIXIME +AZITHROMYCIN, AMOXYCILLIN+POT. CLOVINATE, CEFODOXIME+LEVOFLOXACIN ETC. NOW I AM TOTALLY FRUSTED FROM THIS PROBLEM

Hi Sir... Good morning. I understand your recurrent sore throat can be very frustrating. May i ask your profession? Because if your working in the healthcare sector or a place that is too polluted , protecting yourself with a mask during workhours might help you. If you are currently suffering a sore throat, get a throat swab taken and do send it for culture and sensitivity.I would not encourage my patients, to buy over the counter azithromycin for RECURRENT sore throat. The culture & sensitivity results, will let you know if there is any bacterial growth and what drugs can be taken to rid them. So go by the sensitivity report rather than a trial and error of medicines which can be frustrating. Also use an Iodine mouth gargle atleast once a day.You can consult a microbiologist for further help. Take care
